I am beginning to doubt that the Yammer crawler even looks at the og meta tags for share links, since when pages without the tags are shared an image and title is sometimes pulled through fine. pulls through *some* meta data ( though not necessarily from the og tags) where else sharing. Many modern skins however do not use tables they use CSS positioning and set a maximum page width, with thumbnails wrapping as needed. For example, four columns and ten rows would give forty thumbnail images to an index page. There is no consistency even between posts on the same website. The columns and rows (below) settings match the columns and rows in the generated tables. Here is an example of the open graph tags we are using: We have the open graph tags set, and the facebook share crawler detects them just fine, as does the open graph crawler. I've checked the og: metadata for comparison between those that work and those that don't, and haven't found anything obvious.Ī client has a similar issue, and it's proving a huge headache. It is not only our website that causes problems - some sites work, and some do not. These are all defined in the page metadata on our website, and work as they should on other social channels. the first example is a link to content on our public website:Īnd this is a link to a different website: We are trialling Yammer as an internal collaboration tool & 'boring' links are a big disincentive.Į.g.

Links to our own public website do not show this information. Started photography with good old film cameras and a dark room in the bathroom. Lately I focus on responsive skins, like Tiger, Photoblogger, Projector, Lucid and Animatics. Started with Chameleon back in 2005, later came Turtle, and a few others.
JALBUM PHOTOBLOGGER NOT SHOWING FULL THUMBNAIL SKIN
This is not the case for ALL sites, but for some. Welcome here: I work for jAlbum as graphic designer and skin developer. When posting links to Yammer, thumbnail image, title & description are not showing.
